Vinyl Wrapping

Automotive Vinyl Wraps

Vinyl wrapping a vehicle is a great alternative to painting a vehicle, though they are very distinctly different. Some will attempt to compare the cost of a vinyl wrap to the cost of a low-budget paint job but they each have their pros and cons. Vinyl wrapping is a great choice because it allows customization with flexibility. It does not require long term commitment, as vinyl can be removed and replaced easily and relatively cheaply, unlike paint which is meant to be a permanent change. Vinyl wrapping also provides the opportunity to get creative with designs, patterns, unique colors, transitioning colors, etc. where paint Is somewhat limited or will cost exponentially more for truly custom work.

Chrome Delete

Chrome has become less and less popular in the last decade, yet many manufacturers still insist on chrome trims and other accents. If you’re ready to update the look of your vehicle, a chrome delete is the perfect solution. A chrome delete is the process of removing and wrapping the chrome trim on your vehicle in vinyl. While satin black or gloss black are the most common options, any color is possible.

Vinyl wrapping your vehicle can be a good alternative to painting your vehicle. It can be used as a temporary and cost-effective way to completely transform your vehicle. A vinyl wrap can also preserve the painted surface below and assists in preventing UV fading.

Vinyl is a great way to personalize your vehicle, however it is not thick enough to be able to take abuse the same way that PPF can. On average, vinyl is half as thick as PPF and does not have the same self healing properties and elasticity that Paint Protection Film has.
