The rear-drive coupe shares a shrieking 526-hp naturally aspirated V8 and precise six-speed manual transmission with its R-rated twin. It’s not hard to be enamored with the simple visceral experience of the GT350. The flat-plane crank 5.2-liter V8 belts out a death metal opera as it winds its way up to its supercar-like 8,250 redline, and delivers 526 horsepower and 429 ft/lb of torque in the process. Ford Performance worked with Michelin to develop a new version of its Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire for the GT350, helping the GT350 pick a line and hold it through any corner on the track, be it slight or tight. The interior, a mix of modern and retro styling, features faux-suede trim and Shelby badging that are specific to the GT350. Making the ride enjoyable are a pair of standard Recaro front sport seats with an abundant amount of legroom, an infotainment system, and a 12-speaker B&O audio system.
